Let IMS Calm Your Security Anxieties
Thinking about a security system can be a stressful task. No one wants to imagine possible dangers affecting their home and family, and often nervous questions pop into clients’ heads. To calm your nerves, we’ve answered a few of them already:
What if I’m going away for a week? -- Don’t worry.
Do more than take your neighbor’s word for it that “everything’s fine.” Instead, stay informed about your Intelligent Home while you’re away. Integrated Media Systems will set you up with two options for immediate feedback:
Hear from your system:
The security system will alert you, and the police and fire squads, if it detects a break-in or fire. Or, if you heard news of a storm at the coast, but don’t have time to drive out there to check, water bug sensors in your vacation home can detect any flooding.
See for yourself:
Go online for access to your video security cameras. Simply log onto your secure website, which relays video information from your security cameras discretely placed in your home, and watch the monitors to check for damage or trouble.
What if I don’t have internet access while I’m away? -- No problem.
Information from your security cameras can be stored digitally. In case you don’t have internet access while you are away, you can still come home and find out what went on during your absence. The play-back screen will even display a time stamp, so you can know if your teenager broke curfew or if the cleaning staff was prompt.
What if it’s dark outside? -- Your infrared illuminators will take care of that.
Outdoor cameras will record in color during the day and then switch to black and white once their sensors determine that it is dark outside. After dark, special infrared illuminators built into the cameras will also switch on, allowing you to see if anyone is lurking in the shadows.
What if there’s a bump in the night? --IMS is there for you.
Your touch panel will not only function as the light dimmer, remote control, and volume dial, but it is also a display devise for the security camera. If there is a disturbance at night, or someone rings the doorbell, the touch panel’s backlight will come on, making it easy to find in the dark. Then, an image from each security camera will appear on screen. Simply touch the one you want and it will enlarge to fill the entire touch panel screen.
